(March 2024) The Board of Directors of PBST was very happy to welcome the Eco-Candle to Mardyke House prior to the 4th March Board of Directors meeting. A number of members of the Presentation Brothers community at Mardyke House also attended the short prayer ceremony. At the start of the ceremony, Trust Chairperson, Carmel Murphy, lit the candle and spoke briefly about the importance of climate justice in a world of finite resources. The candle had also been hosted by Coláiste an Spioraid Naoimh easrlier in the day. PBST is grateful to the Dennehys Cross Parish Faith in Action Group for providing the Trust with an opportunity to host the candle.
