(Posted 25 January 2024) Alex Beron, a student at Colaiste Chriost Ri, was this year’s winner of the PBST Christmas Art competition. As always, the competition invites students to create an image for the PBST Christmas card that sends a socially-aware message about the real meaning of Christmas. Alex’s artwork used contrasting colour schemes to portray the contradiction between the bright shop window and the world of the homeless at Christmas time. Our picture shows Alex in the company of PBST Chairperson, Carmel Murphy, and school Principal, Padraig Mac an Ri.
