Past pupils, young and old, along with current and former principals, staff members and Board of Management and Trustees representatives gathered on a beautiful sunny Saturday to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the foundation of Coláiste Muire. Following a short blessing and joint lighting of candles by the four retired Principals, current Principal, Fergus O’Brien, spoke about the happy joining together of the Presentation and Mercy traditions . Afterwards, as part of an Open Day, there was a wonderful celebration of music, sport, drama and the arts.
