(Jan 2023) Coláiste Muire staff and students were delighted to host their Annual Christmas Jumper Day again last December. They nominated Cobh Community Hospital as their charity again this year as the hospital is a fantastic local hospital with strong links to the school.
They decided it was fitting to present the cheque to the hospital on Tuesday last, during Catholic Schools Week. As part of this week, students were encouraged to highlight the link they have with their Grandparents as the hospital is a wonderful facility that lots of their grandparents and great grandparents avail of.
Some of the school’s TY Team Leaders accompanied Ms. Buckley to present the cheque to the Friends of Cobh Hospital in the grounds of the hospital.
