(Posted April 2023) A reception for all the 6^th Class pupils and their families following their Confirmation Ceremony has always been a tradition in Greenmount and one that espouses the best of our Presentation ethos.  It is a tradition that involves all, welcomes all and enriches all.  The day before involves staff dressing and preparing the Halla. The morning itself involves the bustle of Parents’ Association volunteers preparing food and refreshments.  The event itself involves staff and parent volunteers welcoming and serving guests.  The reception sees 6^th Class being treated to top table service and having photos taken with family, friends and staff.  It is wonderful to see generations of past pupils, parents and grandparents in attendance.  Following 3 years of no Confirmation Breakfast due to Covid restrictions, it was wonderful to see this great tradition back up running.
