The SHARE Christmas appeal was launched on Wednesday 14th December at Daunts Square in the presence of Lord Mayor of Cork, Cllr. Des Cahill, and Bishops Buckley and Colton. A large crowd gathered on a fine but chilly evening for what has become established as an integral part of the Cork Christmas scene. Over the coming ten days, hundreds of yellow jacketed collectors from a large number of Cork schools will be seen on streets all over the city centre raising funds for SHARE.
