The Roots of Empathy project is proving to be a great success at Scoil Mhuire na nGrás, Greenmount this year. The programme is an evidence-based classroom programme that has been shown to have significant effects in reducing levels of aggression and bullying among school children while raising social/emotional competence and increasing empathy. So far, the participating 4th class children have enjoyed interacting with baby Zara as she goes though very milestones in her first year of life.
