The presentation of certificates to the 25 teachers who participated in the inaugural PBST Leadership Development Programme took place at a ceremony held at Nano Nagle Place on Tuesday 1st May. The teachers received their certificates from Jack O’Sullivan, Chairman of PBST, in the presence of Trust directors, members of Boards of Management and members of the teachers’ families. PBST CEO, Michael Sexton, commended the teachers on their dedication and commitment in taking on an evening programme on winter’s evenings after a day’s work and noted that it augured well for the future of PBST schools that so many teachers had undertaken to add to their own skill set while also building leadership capacity in their schools. The ceremony was followed by a very pleasant reception in the beautiful new conference room in Nano Nagle Place.
