(Nov 2023) Last week saw the celebration of the famous “Spirit of Pres” Week. This annual fixture on the calendar celebrates all that is good with the school and embraces its deep roots within the community. The week emphasises shared experiences that are exemplified by a number of student v. teacher fixtures.

These fixtures include a very competitive suite of contests including debating, rugby, basketball, football and dodgeball. The intensity of spirit shown in these contests are a mark of the passion each group has for their school. 

The week also champions values of compassion and charity. Along with important talks from local groups the students and teachers have organised fundraising events including a sponsored sleep out, no uniform day and a monster bake sale. 

The school is deeply proud of and thankful to the teaching and student bodies for reminding us all of our vibrant community spirit…one that is alive and well on the Putland hill!
