The 2016 Edmund Rice Action Camp ‘graduates’ gathered at Mardyke House for a very special occasion on Saturday evening 12th November. Following Mass which was celebrated by Fr Tom Clancy, the camp leaders were presented with their certificates by Jemma Halpin of the Presentation Brother Youth Ministry. Camp organiser, Anne Cleary, congratulated the young men and women and praised them for their role in a project that brings joy to the lives of younger children. Brother Andrew also spoke of the importance of their work and thanked Anne, Declan Davis, Brenda Moriarty and Brother Ultan for their commitment to the camp over so many years. The Mass was followed by a reception attended by the camp leaders and organisers and a number of guests.
