Posted 23rd September 2021: All four first year classes at Coláiste an Spioraid Naoimh gathered for a series of welcome Masses at the Church of the Descent of the Holy Spirit, Dennehy Cross over the last two weeks. The Masses were celebrated by Fr Bertie O’Mahony who also took the time to talk to the boys about the beautiful artworks that adorn the church and about the meaning attached to each of them. The boys were accompanied by Deputy Principal, Philip O’Sullivan, and by their Religion teachers, Denise Dorgan, Aghna Fallon and Fiona O’Leary. The programme of Masses was organised by Ms Anne Cleary, RE co-ordinator in the school, ably assisted by a number of senior students.
